I'll have to bring in a few of my works. I'm working on a Darkshipping story.

Here's a little story I just made up about my Yami (Yami Maddie) and her friend, Mark. Reza (Mark's Hikari) and I also have a breif and not very important apperance.

Feel free to point out any spelling or gramatical errors Microsoft Word din't pick up on ^^



Yami Maddie and Mark sat at either side of the table, their unwavering stares focused on the chessboard between them. Yami Maddie sat with her chin in her hands. Mark sat with his fingers steepled in front of him, with his elbows resting on the table. The tension was so strong you could have cut the air with a knife.
Maddie and Reza sat to the side of the table, watching in silence. No one had moved yet. It had been 5 minutes.
Yami Maddie controlled the white pieces. White goes first. It was her move.
Mark looked up from the board to stare into the bottomless depths of Yami Maddie’s sapphire eyes. He wondered what fiendish strategies she was planning. She was probably planning several manoeuvres, each designed to counter his every move, to eventually crush him in a long, drawn-out and humiliating way.
Yes, he would be unable to stop her. She would slaughter his pieces, one by one... She would probably go for his Rooks and Bishops first... Corner his Queen with a Knight... Get some Pawns to his end of the board... Trying to end it in a Stalemate was unthinkable...
Slowly, very slowly, Yami Maddie moved her right hand toward her pieces. There was a faint intake of breath from Maddie and Reza. She tapped her Knight with her index finger. She glanced up at Mark.
This is it, he thought, the battle begins.
“Remind me again,” She said. “How the little horses move.”
