This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

And I call bullshit on both of that! I just assumed they were saying that until they came up with a better story about how Aang really died but now I guess that doesn't matter and Bumi being the only person who lives that long just because is pretty lame. At the very least Bumi could prove that people in the Avatar world normally could live up to there 90's.

The Guru from the Airbending temple in the last season was like over 100 aswell.
However, This means nothing. Why?
Well, in the real world, some people can also live up to 100.
Doesn't stop others from dying at 80, Or 70, or even 50 and 40.
Besides, look at this reasonably, It takes place 75 years afterwards.
THis means Kitara and Sokka, Zuko and Toph would all be like a max of age 90 before they died. We only know when Aang died at the age of 71.
So chillax guys, They had a sweet, long life.

Hmm, that Korra sure does look a bit... muscular to be a girl. >.> <.<

But whatever, the storyline seems a bit cool. And extra points for Steam-punk style cities. I like Steam-punk. :]

Anti-bender revolts? Sounds like the X-men movie to me. Which is good I suppose.

True, true. But I was more implying that she could be too young to be that ripped. Hopefully she's more around the age of 15+ or something.

Yeah, she's 16. That's the age that Avatars are traditionally told of their destiny. Aang got told early because the world was in imminent peril.

Although, that would have given her a matter of months to master the other two elements, assuming she mastered water prior to her 16th birthday.

Its possible she might be a bit older.

Probably still a teenager though.

I've always thought that at least Toph would get into the 100+ range, being the badass Earth chick that she is, but I guess not. -_-

Aang mastered three elements in less than a year. Why can't she?

You will NEVER FIND OUT. It'll be a franchise-reviving Saving Throw if Nick hits the crapper.

I give it about 6 months after Korra ends.

Thats true, but Aang had a deadline so he was under pressure to. And even then he apparently had scratchy earth bending and sub parr fire bending.

Korra on the other hand could have taken her time to refine each one.

Ofcourse that was just my deduction. It wouldn't be a BIG surprise if she was still 16. Plus, she is meant to be "hot-headed and ready to take on the world", so maybe she did learn the elements quickly.

Just speculation though. Its possible I'm reading too mcuh into this.

It really stinks that it will only be twelve epsiodes though. If it does get enough good reviews and a lot of fans watch the episodes especially after the first one premieres, I wouldn't be surprised if Nick stops being stupid and puts out Book 4 or we at least get a mini series about Zuko finding his mother.

I actually heard about this during spring time. O__O I dunno how, maybe I just have awesome connections? xD But I'm really excited and can't wait.

But I agree with one of the above persons. Korra looks buff. xD

Where's Garland when you need him? The dude has MASTERED the fucking Art of Time Loops. Either he'd help me or he'd knock me down.

Anyway...Korra can kick ass 8 ways to Sunday. Let the chick have some musculature.

"A metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology" the articles says.

....Ugh. Doesn't anyone realize that steam tends to be powered from coal? Just look at the Fire Nation's machines in the original--all that smoke. I wonder if Korra's world is now officially global warm'd or just utterly polluted.

*looks at picture*

Or not.

Maybe it's a new Steampunk society. Also, Steampunk in Fiction tends to run on Rule of Cool, even when actual Coal is involved.
