In the brief amount of time that I actually liked the series, I recall thinking Jyounouchi had the most appealing design. Looking at his hair, I think I recall having drawn fanart of him.


::Nostolgia trip:: I also remember that YGO was actually still popular in Japan at the time, so everyone had me looking up well-drawn Japanese fanart sites for them while one of the other girls hunted down doujinshis. Jyounouchi was probably THE most requested cast member...Yeah at the time, all the girls wanted fanart & doujinshis of YGO, Pocket Monsters, Gundam Wing, Prince of Tennis, & anything by CLAMP.

Well, revisiting this topic months latter after catching up with all the YGOA apisodes & reading some of the manga, I can see why Joey/Jounouchi is my favorite; he's 2 of my fetish types rolled into 1.

*The Gourry Gabriev: Beautiful, male dumb blonde, loyal to a fault, comic relief, friends force him to cosplay against his will.

*The Sha Gojou: Tsundere; petulant on the outside & puppylike on the inside, constant karmic punishment for displays of perversion, bromantic, takes turns rescuing & being rescued, despite being a bitch he's the first person to worry about his friends, starter of amusing arguments.
