This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I think it would be fun to see [ Davros in season four. Seeing as how you can't have the Doctor without the Daleks. And the Daleks would be no where without their creator. ]

Nice Kroze

Old news, but still.

Can anyone see him playing the doctor?

Possible Spoilers

[ PR-Inside.com has released a story that includes possible spoilers for upcoming seasons of Doctor Who, although they are sourced from off-hand comments made by Russell T Davies in his latest Doctor Who Magazine interview. Please Click on the Spoiler icon below to see the full article.

The story is also being reported by BBC America.

The next actor to play DOCTOR WHO on the hit British sci-fi show has been found - TV star HARRY LLOYD.
The show's boss Russell T Davies was impressed with Lloyd when the actor appeared on a recent episode as a student at a posh school.

And when current Doctor Who David Tennant leaves the series, which is rumoured to be in two year's time (09), Davis [sic] is convinced he has found a ready made replacement.

He says, "After his audition I sent a note to the casting director saying, 'He's not just good for Baines (his character), that's the next Doctor.

Seriously. He's so brilliant." Lloyd currently plays Will Scarlett in the British TV series Robin Hood.

Him? Fuck no. Too young.

Besides, he was already on Who [ as Baines (ie the creepy smile student who was possessed in Family of Blood). I wouldn't want someone who was a villain on a previous episode to show up as a new regeneration of the Doctor. ]

I have to point out that being on the show before has never stoped people from being cast again in bigger roles.

Yeah but no one has gone from being the main enemy of an episode to being the Doctor. Yeah Colin Baker was the guard that shot the Doctor but he was NOT the main enemy of a story like Harry Lloyd. And besides.. he looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too young.

I think it was the Rani at the end of season 3 not the Master as a woman...

Though Davis said he'd never do a story with Rani,
I think he lies...just like he did with the Master.

But when I saw the vid, I couldn't help but laugh.

I love Jack Harkness, even though he is really gay; I don't care, I love his character and that's all anyone really needs. Hell I don't even like Torchwood, but I'd force myself to watch it just for John ^_^

I would say Dr who is a show that deserves respect, even if the older seres are better.
Im not sure why but I prefered the old villans and when one dr who story lasted 5 episodes at least. :-D

I rememeber when the Dr had two assistants... the large Scottish lad in the Kilt and the timid girl who needed protecting and enjoyed making tea. Horay for old Sterotypes :-D

Torchwood is good , If you can view it as a different show, I belive they can actually be open with Tourchwood is because they do not have that luxury is Dr Who. In the epasode when they first showed the new version onf the Cybermen the writter wanted to show a gay couple in good taste nothing more graphic then what they showed with the hetrosexual couples. (Im talking about the alt version of ricky and his terrorist friend in Rise of the Cyber men.) The Writer went on to make tourch wood, apeperently not to make play around with the topic of writing people not ony as hetrosexual , but more so he didnt have be restricted to what young famillys may find apceptable. Torch wood is mearly just his own work and though linked to Dr Who is a seperate more adult entitiy all togehter :) If that makes sense :-D (Or rahter thats the explanation I got off a torchwood fan the topic , he follows the shows closer then me lol)

To be honest though I prefered the old style of Dr who before rose came along, where there really wasnt any bases on sexuality hetrosexual or homosexual. When it was just about a wierd guy going round time and space in his police phone box :-D fighting evil and saving the day.

That sexual/hetero/homosexual shit was the result of Russell T. Davies helming Doctor Who. He's leaving in a year or two so hopefully it will lose alot of those overtones.

he's involved with theater during that year's break, I forgot what company; but it is true.

I don't really mind about the whole gay thing, hell the Jack Harkness charatcer flirted with anyone and anything, I found that to be hilarious.....but it just gets weird when they take it to a whole knew level like Torchwood, hence why I only watch one episode per month or so >_<

Though I like Russell, I think he could stay well enough alone with some of the stuff he rights in the scripts... (i.e. Stop with the kissing the doctor every season, he's a damn time lord and it will never last) Anyway, I like the old series after I found Christopher Eccleston, but being the avid sterotype hater(unless it's actually funny), I rather enjoy the new series
