I'm not saying the Myers-Briggs test is invalid, but I wouldn't put too much stock in the descriptions that accompany the results. And to those of you who don't believe most people are more or less the same, prepare to have your mind blown. As a child, when riding in a car you often imagined a little man running alongside the car jumping over obstacles such as mailboxes and roadsigns. |

=But seriously, these tests validate this point, not disprove it, the fact that we can have our personalities classed is proof we are of one race and these tests rarely set out to agrue against that, just show us our dominant personality traits. -I suspect most tests don't big up the issue because as shown here, most like to think their completely individualistic (IE the bringing up of the, i am rarest class issue.) =I think taken objectively, what these tests highlight is this; we are made up of several core and basic personality traits which are generally consistent throughout all of us, but to varying degrees these traits will more or less dominant in each individual. IE I am very out going and spoken, but I will still reverse judgement or stay inside sometimes. =In short, it is a generalisation; so it should not be seen as more or less than that. |

Probably just ending this Monday. Got 46 participants so far, and that's a fair majority of the people who actually hang around here, I suspect. If not and you're one of the people I've missed, feel free to post. |

Trust rebbie to get this score...sigh.
PS, you will probably find in reality INFJ's are not that rare in the real world, just that they are least likely to be involved in the studies which statistically show generalised personality types. One of psychologies biggest problems is that volunteers for their tests have a very distinct personality type, meaning their results often blur slightly. So in short, where you test, is where you get your results, if we tested in Westminster in the UK, we would probably find lots of ENFJ's, despite them also supposedly being only about 2%, if tested in hospital, would change again.
