General Rules:
1. Sign ups may not last more than a week.
2. If players complain after getting a warning then GM Lightning will be used to cause 50 damage to them.
3. For now this will be a free-for-all game until I can balance the game a bit.
4. After a round is over suggestions may be posted but wont be necessarily implemented.
5. Winning conditions may vary, but will usually be last man/team standing.
6. The goal of the game is to eliminate the rest of the competition using any means necessary. If the round lasts for too long then certain "factors" will kick in to speed up the round.

 

Attributes
There are 7 attributes that can be upgraded with starting skill points or equipment found during the game. They are:

 

Strength: Determines the effectiveness of physical attacks and carrying capacity.

 

Intelligence: Determines effectiveness of item making and trap disarmament. Setting up a trap requires an Intelligence test. Traps can only be disarmed if you perceive them before activating them. After disarming them you can take their components for yourself. Item making requires an RNG. If you have an Intelligence of 50% then you have a 50/50 chance of failing or succeeding. The same goes for traps.

 

Stealth: Determines how effectively you sneak and how difficult sneak attacks are. To sneak you must send your action in a PM. If you successfully sneak for the turn your action will not appear in results, rather they will be PM'd to you and your location will not be announced in the results. If you successfully sneak and another person comes into the room and does not perceive you then you can try to sneak attack them next turn. Sneak attacks cause x2 damage. To successfully launch a sneak attack you must first pass the Stealth test and your opponent must fail their Perception test. If you pass the Stealth test and your opponent passes their Perception test then they don't take x2 damage but the opponent cant dodge. Lastly, if you fail the Stealth test altogether then you cannot cause x2 damage and your opponent has a chance to dodge.

 

Health: Determines starting health points.

 

Perception: Determines how well you detect traps, sneaking opponents, sneak attacks and find supplies. Each item has its own detection rate that determines how easy it is to find. Your Perception percentage is combined with the items percentage to see how easy it is to find.

 

Reaction: Determines how well you dodge non-sneak attacks and activated traps (explosives cannot be dodge, but you can reduce the damage done).

 

Speed: Determines action order. If two people have the same Speed then action order is determined by higher Reaction. If they have the same Speed and Reaction then it is determined by RNG.

 

Base and Max attribute Stats
There are 30 starting attribute points to distribute and each stat maxes out with 10 points distributed.

Base Strength: 5 - Max Strength: 35
Base Carrying Capacity: 50 - Max Carrying Capacity: 100
Each point increases Strength by 3 and Carrying Capacity by 5.

Base Intelligence: 0% - Max Intelligence: 100%
Each point increases Intelligence by 10%.

Base Stealth: 10% - Max Stealth: 50%
Each point increases Stealth by 4%.

Health Base: 200hp - Max Health: 300hp
Each point increases health by 10.

Base Perception: 10% - Max Perception: 60%
Each point increases Perception by 5.

Reaction Base: 0% - Max Reaction: 50%
Each point increases Reaction by 5.

Base Speed: 0 - Max Speed: 100
Each point increases Speed by 10.

Item Searching
Once per turn you can search for up to thee random items. To search for random items you must specify the category of the item that you want to search. You can look for random items from more than 1 category in a turn.
If you want a specific item you must search for it specifically, which means you cannot look for any more items than the specific item you want.... specifically.

Item List

Firearms: Firearms can be used in the same square or from adjacent squares. Their base attack cannot be enhanced by the Strength attribute if used to fire bullets, however, they can be used to pistol whip opponents in which case the Strength attribute will enhance its strength. Using guns for melee attacks is not as effective as using melee weapons though.

Handgun - Firearm
Causes 10 damage when used in the same area and 5 from an adjacent area. Plus 5 melee damage if used for melee.

Machine Gun - Firearm
Causes 20 damage in same area and 10 damage when fired from an adjacent area. Plus 5 damage if used for melee.

Shotgun - Firearm
Causes 35 damage in same area and 1 from adjacent area. Plus 5 damage if used for melee.
DR: 35%

Sniper Rifle - Firearm
Cannot be used when opponent is in the same area. Can only be fired while they're one or two areas away. Causes 30 damage.
DR: 25%

Rocket Launcher - Firearm
Causes 200 damage to one opponent. Only one available in the game.
DR: 5%

Melee: Melee weapons are used to attack opponents in the same area. The attack of the weapon is added to your Strength attribute to determine the attacks strength.

Machete - Melee
Causes 15 damage.
DR: 60%

Survival Knife - Melee
Causes 5 damage.
DR: 85%

Hammer - Melee
Causes 10 damage.

Ceremonial Sword - Melee
Does 25 damage.

Spear - Melee
Does 18 damage.

Trap: Traps can be placed anywhere but must be set up with an Intelligence test. After being setup they must either be activated or disarmed.

Caltrops - Trap
Tiny spikes that can be scattered around the floor. Do 20 damage, but damage can be improved.

Wire - Trap
Can be used to create more complex traps.
DR: 60%

Mine - Trap
Causes 50 damage. Can be placed anywhere and will only be activated by a player who walks into that area (unless the mine is perceived). If two are placed in the same area than the second will do half damage unless the player dodged the first one with a perception test in which case it'll do full damage. If a third is placed then it will do half of half damage if the player hit the other 2 and so on.

Dynamite - Trap
Does 60 damage. Players cannot use it from a different area. Can cause environmental changes.

Poison - Trap
Can be applied to a bladed weapon or used on rations. If used on blade it will do 6 damage for 5 turns if someone attacks a player with a poisoned blade. If used on rations and the rations are eaten then it will do 8 damage for 10 turns. A perception test can keep you from eating poisoned rations.

Nullifies 15 damage from attacks. Attacks weaker than 15 damage will always do 5 damage.

Power Up: Items to raise your overall stats for 1 turn.

Rations - Power Up
Can heal 25hp permanently. Nothing else can be done the turn this is used.

Adrenaline Shot - Power Up
Can run an extra area for the turn. Raises Reaction and Speed by 10. Lowers Sneak by 50%.
