I'm gonna go off on FP one of these days. She pisses the fuck out of me like no other.

Oh. XD Yugi and Jonouchi will eventually show up in Apricots. I just haven't gotten to that point just yet, but it will happen. Ryou will return to, and Mokuba will make his belated appearance. Promise.

I don't know if I could ever write a smut fic about Yugi and Jou, but I am a fan of protectshipping. I've wanted to write something about those two for a while now, and I'll probably do it again. They are fun and refreshing to write after doing azureshipping so much.

I think personal head canon's are some of the worst things that came out of the fandom. It wasn't until I started writing fanfiction did I even begin to think like that, because I based all my perceptions of characters based off of the actual manga/anime. If it didn't happen in the show, then it didn't happen at all. That's why I like things like azureshipping and prideshipping, because there's actual evidence of it in the story.

However, like you said, some people can't be reasoned with. They want things to be a certain way, even when it's obviously wrong. So many people want to emasculate Kaiba and turn him into someone he's not, and I just don't get it. He's a great character as he stands. Why would you want to do that?

This is also why I hate the fandom. It's full of liberal little closet types who know nothing about real people.

That's exactly it. It's nice to know I'm not just going crazy.

My father owns his own business, and yeah, you don't get there by being passive. Kaiba's a nasty motherfucker, and Takahashi already hinted that he might have driven Gozaburo to suicide to get it. There's nothing submissive or nice or caring about him, except when it comes to his own blood. I can't see him falling for anyone quickly, let alone letting them put him in a vulnerable situation. He likes control.

I think those girls are just so stuck in their own head canon and how they wish he was, they can't see what's really there. In real life, Kaiba would scare me. I probably wouldn't like him at all (he'd remind me of me), and that's how I write him. He's supposed to be somewhat unlikable.

But I digress, you can't help everybody.

I thought so. After writing some 12 long as chapters, I was hoping the situation was pretty obvious. My characterizations and hints at body language were pretty clear, or at least I thought they were clear. LOL Anzu is fun to write.

I see. So they are playing a tango dance of, "who's gonna spill the beans first, because I don't want to get my feelings hurt". That's helpful. One of my proof reader's thought Kaiba's love for her came out of left field, but I thought it was pretty obvious. -_-
