Yeah, I'm actually considering watching the unabridged version of BBT, if just to see more of their interaction.
It was a single moment in the abridged movie that did it for me. When Jaden goes, "Aw, yeah, looks like we chillin' with the king of games, biatches! This shit be BALLIN'!" And at Yugi's confused, "What?" Yusei seamlessly translates, "He said he's happy to have you on board" without missing a beat.
Just... something about that. The look on Yusei's face. But suddenly I found myself imagining him having to do that all the freaking time , half exasperated and half amused, because he's the only one who can understand the words that come out of Jaden's mouth, and then I couldn't unsee it.
